Google released Chrome version 62, which means you need to add Comodo Positive SSL. If you don’t implement SSL to your website, your visitors will see a “Not Secure” warning. There is a big possibility that they will not proceed visiting your website.
You can also add “Domain Privacy Protection” if you want to hide your personal information from the public WHOIS database. When you finally decided to have your own blog, you can follow the follow steps:

- Put the domain you register earlier on “I have a domain name” or get their free domain under “new domain”
- Fill-up the account information, package information and payment information
- Then, click “Submit”

Important Note: You do not need to follow this instruction, if you bought your domain to Bluehost
If you bought your domain to other company like 1and1, Godaddy and namecheap, then you need to connect your domain to your hosting.
How to modify DNS Nameserver when you purchase domain to Godaddy and Bluehost for hosting:
- Go to Domain Manager
- Under “Domain Name”, click the small box beside your domain name and it will show a check ✔
- Click Nameservers on top and then choose “Set Nameservers”
- Click “Custom” and then click “You’re currently using default nameservers. Enter custom nameservers “
- Under add the nameserver, put ns1.bluehost.com on the first box and ns2.bluehost.com on the second box
- Then, click “Add Nameserver” and then finally click “OK”
How to modify DNS Nameserver when you purchase domain to 1and1 and Bluehost for hosting:
- Click “Domains” on the left side under “My Products”
- Find your domain, under “Actions”, click “Name Server”
- Click “edit name server” and put ns1.bluehost.com on the first box and ns2.bluehost.com on the second box and then click “Save”
How to modify DNS Nameserver when you purchase domain to Marcaria and Bluehost for hosting:
- Click “List of Domains” on the left side
- Click your domain name you want to point under “Domain Names”
- Click DNS Name Servers and click “Add Profile”
- Choose the name of the profile
- Put ns1.bluehost.com on the Primary Server Name and ns2.bluehost.com on the Secondary Server Name
How to modify DNS Nameserver when you purchase domain to NameCheap and Bluehost for hosting:
- On the “Domain List”
- Under “Domain Name”, click the small box beside your domain name and it will show a check ✔
- Click Manage, find “NameServers”, choose “Custom DNS”
- Put bluehost.com on the first line and then ns2.bluehost.com on the second line
- Then, click ✔on the right side
You will need to add the domain you purchase from other domain registrar such as GoDaddy, 1and1, Marcaria, NameCheap, Under “manage my addon products”, click “My Domains”. On the second line, click “Assign” and then follow steps from 1 to 4 and then click “Assign this domain”
