If you’re planning to get a passport, it is important that you already have the requirement so you won’t be going back and forth.

Here are the acceptable Government IDS for Philippine Passport Application:

• Digitized Social Security System (SSS) Card
• Unified Multi-Purpose Identification (UMID) Card
• Land Transportation Office (LTO) Driver’s License
• Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Card
• Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA)
• Integrated Department of Labor and Employment (iDOLE) Card
• Student Permit may be accepted if in card format
• Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) ID
• Philippine National Police (PNP) Firearms License
• Senior Citizen ID
• School ID (if applicable)
• Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Voter’s ID
• Voter’s Certification from the Election Officer with Dry Seal
• Airman License (issued August 2016 onwards)

For those who want to renew their passport, just present your current valid ePassport.
If you’re based overseas, you may use your host government issued IDs showing your Philippine citizenship.

• Voter’s Certification, List of Voters and Voter’s Registration Record
Important Note: Receipt must be attached

You should only present old documents issued at least one year prior to date of application. Name, date and place of birth, picture and signature of applicant must be correct.
